On October 26, 2023, we issued Guidance Document 2023-01 due to the Kansas courts electronic filing system being offline for all counties except for Johnson County. While the system was down, all Kansas counties accepted paper filings. As of today, approximately 2/3rds of all Kansas counties have successfully restored electronic access and have reported that the electronic filing access is up-to-date. Therefore, I have issued an updated guidance document to explain how our agency will review compliance with K.A.R. 17-11-18(b).
