The Kansas Office of the State Bank Commissioner has recently extended agency guidance on licensees working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The guidance has been extended through June 30, 2021.

The guidance was originally issued on March 16, 2020 after Kansas Governor Laura Kelly issued a state of disaster emergency proclamation for the state of Kansas due to heightened public health threats posed by the novel coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

This temporary guidance intends to offer all licensees and registrants the ability to take precautions deemed necessary to avoid the risk of exposure or transmission of COVID-19.

This guidance applies to: Kansas Licensed Mortgage Companies, Mortgage Loan Originators, Supervised Loan Licensees, Credit Services Organizations, Money Transmitters, and Credit Notification Registrants
